April 12/20
Happy Sunday, or Easter for some!
Today we want to say thank you to all of our essential workers for their hard work during this global pandemic. We also want to say thank you for your hard work when we aren't going through a pandemic as well. It takes a great deal of bravery and strength to do what you do all the time, but especially now. We stand behind you and cheer you on!
On that note, we hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Issues like COVID-19 can be a touchy subject, but we think it's important to remind people just how serious this is. If you can stay home, STAY HOME. Avoid unnecessary travel and wash your hands.
We saw a quote that we enjoy quite a bit. It goes like this; "Your grandparents were called to war. You're being asked to sit on the couch. You can do this." That's right. YOU CAN DO THIS. It can be hard for a lot of people to have to completely change their routine, and for a lot of people (like some of us), we depend on our routine to get through the day. My best advice (are we an advice column now?) would be to stay occupied. I am one of those people that depend on routine. I find it really helps to go about my day like I still have that routine. I get up like I would on a normal work day, I get ready for "work", have breakfast, I don't drink coffee (insane I know) but I would probably make a coffee, check my email (even if there isn't anything there) and throughout the day, do little tasks that make me feel productive. You don't have to do all your cleaning in one swing. Washed laundry one day and folded it the next? GREAT! Washed your dishes and put them away hours later? AWESOME! The point is, you did something - you didn't sit around all day, you were productive! YOU CAN DO THIS.
Now lets talk food. Struggling to come up with dinner ideas? Here is one of our favourites with minimal ingredients! (potatoes, flour and egg - yes, that easy)
Potatoes starting to go soft in your pantry? Try this classic, delicious Gnocchi recipe.
https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/18465/gnocchi-i/ Top it with a delicious garlic butter and add your favourite spices/seasonings or use your favourite classic pasta sauce!
It's super easy to make, and a great way to get your little ones involved too.

That's all we have for now! We'll see you again soon. Remember, YOU CAN DO THIS.

February 25/20
We just finished our Totally Tubular Trivia Night on February 22nd/2020 and all I can say is, WOW. What an incredible night. We had a great turnout with laughs shared and great food!

We started out a little rocky but everyone was so patient and we thank you for that! It was our first time (in a long time) pulling off a trivia night. The next one is bound to be even better!
